Turku Cathedral is one of Finland’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit when in Turku. Located in the city centre, this impressive Gothic-style cathedral dates back to the 13th century and is considered the national shrine of Finland.

COST & ACCESS: Free to enter. Located in Turku city centre, easily reachable.

There's also a cafe called Domcafé. The spot where the café is today was built in the 15th century and once served as the Cathedral's salt and grain storage, among other things. It’s open all year round after Sunday mass and operates as a summer café from spring to autumn.
