If you love Moomins, this place is an absolute must!

I’ve been a die-hard Moomin fan since I was a little girl, so visiting the museum in 2024 felt like a dream come true and honestly, it did not disappoint. Here’s why it’s worth it: the exhibits are full of tiny magical details that really make the stories come alive. I loved spotting little surprises hidden around the rooms. It felt like stepping straight into the Moomin world.

WHEN TO GO: Weekdays or early mornings are the calmest times. The museum can get busy, especially on weekends, so arriving early gives you a chance to explore at your own pace and really soak in the details.

FUN DETAIL: You can explore the miniature Moomin scenes that bring the stories to life, and the best part? You can listen to the story behind each scene in multiple languages.

The gift shop outside is also a gem, full of adorable Moomin souvenirs, from mugs to plushies.

LOCAL TIP: Try to catch one of their free entry days. They happen once a month and are perfect if you want the full experience without the ticket price.
