What you'll do
š¶ Surprisingly (maybe not?) Moab is a super dog-friendly destination outside of the National Parks. With many hotels, restaurants, and hikes to choose from ā know that your furry best friend is welcome!
š” TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND
1. Just as you need water, so does your dog. Unless the hike has a running stream, youāll need to pack extras, as many do not
2. It gets HOT ā keep their pads in mind
š Visit The Moab Bark Park ā a leash-free one-acre lot for both large and small dogs with š¦ available
š· Snap a photo at the famous Greetings from Moab sign on Main and 200N

State Park
Dead Horse Point State Park is a breathtaking canyon landscape and not one to be missed. I will say the entrance is every bit of worth it. There are miles of pet-friendly developed hiking trails in the park, including a paved trail which provides easy access to some of the most scenic views. Mountain Bikers will love the new Intrepid Trail System at Dead Horse Point. With slickrock sections, looping singletrack, sandy washes, and incredible scenery, the Intrepid Trail System provides a great taste of what Moab mountain biking is all about. This is the perfect ride for families and offers spectacular views of the Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park.
