Alstrom Point is arguably one of the best places to watch the sunrise in Southern Utah. I’ve witnessed some of the best sunrises here in my life, and dispersed camping is plentiful. This place has gotten considerably more busy over the years, so would priority weekdays if possible.

4x4 isn’t required until the last mile. It IS possible to park and hike in, but 4x4 makes it much easier, especially when camping.

This is in Glen Canyon National Rec Area and droning is prohibited. 🚫
