In Fall 2025, we were hosted stay by Canyon Country Chalet — and it was exactly what Southern Utah dreams are made of, especially if you’re traveling with small kids.

There’s a popcorn maker, s’mores station, endless toys in the Adventure Cave, and even an original Pac-Man machine (Georgia’s new obsession). She didn’t even want to leave the toys for our hike — and honestly, I couldn’t blame her. Every detail is labeled and easy to use, which made our stay completely stress-free.

Before this trip, I hadn’t even heard of Duck Creek Village — but now I can’t stop recommending it. It’s the perfect central hub for Southern Utah adventures: about halfway between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, with Cedar Breaks just 15 minutes away. If you want one cozy home base instead of moving every few days, this is it.
