Hello Mallory

The Valley of the Gods is a stunning sandstone valley nestled near Mexican Hat in southeastern Utah, USA. It boasts impressive rock formations like towering mesas, buttes, and mushroom rocks that resemble those found in Monument Valley. Visitors can explore the area via a 17-mile gravel road that winds through the picturesque landscape. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, this public land offers dispersed camping opportunities and breathtaking views without any entrance fees. It's a must-visit destination for nature lovers seeking a rugged yet awe-inspiring adventure in the great outdoors.

UPDATE AS OF JANUARY 2025: Droning is no longer permitted at Valley of the Gods, or anywhere within Bears Ears National Monument. The BLM hasn't done the best job with updating restrictions, however they can be found in the 2025 Resource Management Plan -- Scroll down to record of decision and approved resource management plan and the final document is the second in this category. Scroll to page 93 of 284 to see where it now prohibits drones. All images and videos seen were taken PRIOR to the restriction.
