Hello Mallory

Forrest Gump Point is a famous viewpoint along Highway 163 at mile marker 13 in Mexican Hat County, just outside Monument Valley. It's where Forrest Gump stopped running in the movie, offering a stunning view of the iconic red rock formations. The best time to visit is in the morning when the sunlight illuminates the landscape, but can be much less busy for sunset. Just be careful taking photos in the middle of the road—it can get REALLY busy!
