Just off the beaten path, you'll discover a fantastic collection of roadside sculptures carved right into the local clay bluffs. A local artist, Pete Karns, spent a decade creating these unique pieces, which range from a miniature Mount Rushmore to an Egyptian Sphinx. You can easily view the art from your car or take a few minutes to walk around and admire the creativity. For a little more adventure, you can explore the informal walking trails across the street that wind through the scenic rock canyons.
DIRECTIONS: I-15 exit 118. Drive north on Lower Flat Top Drive for a little over two miles. The carvings will be on the right, spread out over three-quarters of a mile. Pull off road onto soft shoulder cautiously.
