After walking a wide wash for approximately 1.5 miles, you will enter the slot canyon. It doesn't get very narrow so this is a great option for those that are claustrophobic. Be careful with what you touch // I didn't see a lot, but did see some poison ivy. No water in October, BUT there can be creek crossings within the slot so prepare for this to be a water hike.

This is such a gem and favorite of mine. I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this canyon. Low visitation and SO much vegetation within the canyon.
