Day 1
The easiest way to get to Kakadu National Park is to fly into Darwin. Once you land, rent a 4WD vehicle for your road trip to Kakadu National Park! (Make sure to book your park pass in advance).
From here you have the option to head straight to Kakadu National Park (Start from Day 4), or if you have the time for the full week I recommend experiencing Litchfield National Park and Nitmiluk National Park on this round trip.
If you plan to start/stay in Darwin, you can take your time to prepare, pick up supplies for the week and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Darwin.
