Hello Emilie

With its majestic red rock cliffs that stretch high into the sky, Simpsons Range is a sight to behold. Nestled within this stunning landscape is a permanent waterhole known as the "gap," which serves as a habitat for various wildlife species. According to the Arrernte people, Rungutjirpa holds a mythical significance as the ancestral dwelling of a tribe of enormous goannas. However, if you visit today, you might be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of a Black-footed Rock-wallaby, a fascinating creature that calls this place home.
