The North Atlantic Aviation Museum in Gander is a cool spot to check out if you're into aviation history. My husband loves anything that has to do with airplanes, so we knew we had to add this little museum to our itinerary.
They've got all kinds of exhibits showcasing Gander's role as the "Crossroads of the World" in aviation, from the early days of air travel to the events of 9/11. You can learn about the Hudson Bomber, Ferry Command operations, and even see a piece of the World Trade Center. It's a neat place to explore and get a glimpse into the fascinating aviation past of this Newfoundland town.
