Haldarsvík is a quiet coastal village on the northeastern side of Streymoy with beautiful views over the Sundini strait and toward Slættaratindur, the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands.

It’s home to a unique octagonal church and is also close to a small local waterfall, plus the much larger Fossá waterfall nearby, making it an easy and scenic stop to add to a drive.
