Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon filled with icebergs calving from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier. You can actually see thousand-year-old ice drift toward the ocean! It’s an easy, flat walk from the car park to the lagoon’s edge. For a closer look, consider a boat tour to see the ice up close and maybe spot some seals.
