Hands down one of the most epic hikes we did in Iceland in June. The trail is challenging in parts, with elevation gain and uneven terrain, but the views at the top are unreal — waterfalls cascading into the canyon, glaciers in the distance, and endless green valleys below. Our jaws were on the floor the entire time.
The trail leads you on a moderately challenging 4.4 mile hike of about 2.5 to 3 hours for the round trip.
