Elliðaey is a steep, uninhabited island best known for the tiny white cabin sitting on its green hillside. From May to August, the cliffs are packed with puffins, making this an amazing spot for wildlife lovers. You can’t visit the island itself, but boat tours from Heimaey circle around it and give you great views of the island and the birds.
