Fjallsárlón is a quieter, less crowded glacier lagoon on the South Coast and such a hidden gem. It’s an easy walk from the car park to the water, where you can watch icebergs drift by right in front of you. If you want to get even closer, zodiac boat tours take you up near the glacier itself. It’s a peaceful alternative to the busier Jökulsárlón nearby.
