Coumshingaun Loop Walk is a moderate 4 hour (7.5 km) walking route you'll park in the coumshingaun car park where you'll start with a trail through the trees, along a gravel path and over a style before you ascent left up a worn path.

It's not for the faint hearted as there are steep narrow spots that you've almost to do a bit of climbing to get through.

The word ‘corrie’ comes from the Scottish Gaelic word, ‘coire’ meaning pot or cauldron. this lake was formed from glacial movement over 10,000 years ago.

a great camping spot also at the base of the lake.
