Get ready for one of the most demanding but rewarding hikes in Garibaldi Provincial Park. The trail to Wedgemount Lake is a relentless uphill battle, a steep 7-kilometer (4.3-mile) climb that gains over 1,200 meters (3,900 feet) in elevation. You'll be scrambling over boulders and navigating a challenging final ascent, but the payoff is absolutely breathtaking. Once you crest the final ridge, the stunning, glacier-fed turquoise lake comes into view, surrounded by towering peaks and the impressive Wedgemount and Armchair Glaciers. It's a true alpine paradise that makes every ounce of effort worthwhile.
