Escape to Wahleach Lake, or Jones Lake as we locals call it, a stunning mountain reservoir where the peaks of the Cheam Range practically touch the sky. It's a true rustic paradise, perfect for a day of paddling on the crystal-clear water or casting a line for trout. To get here, you'll need a vehicle with good clearance for the final 9km on the forest service road, but the breathtaking views from the shoreline campsites are well worth the bumpy ride.
