Just off the Sea to Sky Highway, you'll find a local favorite that packs a punch. The Murrin Park Loop Trail is a short but challenging hike that rewards you with incredible views over Howe Sound without the full-day commitment of other nearby peaks. Starting from the parking lot near the picturesque Browning Lake, the trail quickly heads uphill, taking you over a mix of dirt paths, wooden stairs, and rocky bluffs. It's a steep and technical climb in sections, with even a few ropes to help you navigate the terrain, but the stunning vistas from the Quercus Viewpoint make every step worthwhile. The entire loop is about 2.4 km and should take you between 1.5 to 2 hours, making it a perfect adventure if you're short on time but still want a great workout and a classic Squamish viewpoint.
