Get ready for one of the most stunning hikes in British Columbia, where you'll encounter three breathtaking, turquoise-coloured lakes fed by glaciers. The trail is about 10 kilometers round-trip and is considered a moderate challenge, with the steepest part being the climb between the first and second lakes. Your reward is the incredible view of the Matier Glacier hanging above the Upper Joffre Lake, a sight you won't soon forget. While the first lake is just a few minutes from the parking lot, allow about 3.5 to 5 hours to complete the entire hike and truly soak in the scenery.
