Get ready for a classic West Coast adventure at Sombrio Beach. After a roughly 10-minute walk downhill from the parking lot, you'll emerge onto a stunning, wild pebble beach famous for its surf breaks. The real magic, though, is the hidden waterfall. You'll need to head left (east) along the rocky shoreline and look for a creek flowing into the ocean—the entrance to a mossy green canyon. Be prepared to get your feet wet as you walk up the creek bed to find the beautiful falls cascading into the narrow gorge.
