On the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry, Rossbeigh Mountain offers one of Ireland’s most spectacular coastal vistas. Rising gently behind the famous sandy shoreline of Rossbeigh Beach, this modest peak rewards hikers with breathtaking views across Dingle Bay to the Slieve Mish Mountains.
For some of the most breathtaking views in Kerry, make your way to Rossbeigh Mountain. While you can drive part of the way up a narrow road, the best approach is to park and take the short but steep walk, which takes about 20-30 minutes to the summit. Once at the top, you're rewarded with absolutely incredible 360-degree panoramas over Rossbeigh Strand, Dingle Bay, and the entire Ring of Kerry landscape. It's a relatively easy effort for such a massive scenic payoff.
