Get ready for one of the most rewarding walks in the area, leading to Sruth in Aghaidh an Aird, Ireland's tallest waterfall. The 2.5km looped trail begins right from the small roadside car park, taking you through a lovely woodland path that soon begins to climb. You'll encounter some steep sections with steps, but the views of Glencar Valley and the spectacular 150-metre cascade are well worth the effort. For the best experience, go after a good rain, and if you're lucky enough to visit when a southerly wind is blowing, you might see the water being pushed back up the cliff, giving the 'chimney' its name.
