Nimmo's Pier in Galway is a cool spot with a lot of history behind it. Built by Scottish engineer Alexander Nimmo back in the 19th century, this pier is not just a place for fishing boats to hang out. It's also a nod to Galway's maritime roots and the Claddagh community who used to sail their iconic red-sailed hookers from there. Nowadays, it's still a working pier and a great spot for birdwatching with killer views of Galway Bay. So, if you're into history, nature, or just chilling by the water, Nimmo's Pier is definitely worth checking out.
