Perched high above the Atlantic, this former WWII lookout post offers heart-stopping views of Keem Bay’s turquoise crescent below. The short but steep hike up rocky trails rewards you with a panoramic theatre of crashing waves, sheer cliffs, and the island’s most famous beach glowing like a jewel. Time it right, and you might spot basking sharks or dolphins patrolling the coast.

The hike: 30-40 minutes uphill from Keem’s parking lot (hiking boots required). The final scramble to the post feels like stepping to the edge of the world.
