Attabad Lake in Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region was formed in 2010 after a massive landslide blocked the Hunza River. The resulting lake offers a range of activities like boating and fishing, attracting visitors year-round. The landslide also submerged parts of the local highway, leading to transportation challenges until a new road tunnel opened in 2015. Despite the initial challenges, Attabad Lake has become a popular destination for tourists seeking adventure and relaxation in a stunning natural setting.
