The Kalta Minor Minaret in Khiva, Uzbekistan was meant to be the tallest in the Muslim world, but construction abruptly stopped at 29 meters in 1855 when its creator, Muhammad Amin Khan, died in battle. Covered in colorful glazed tiles and adorned with geometric patterns, this unique minaret stands as a symbol of incompleteness and historical significance. Visitors can climb up the wooden staircase inside for a closer look at its intricate decorations and enjoy the view from the top.
