The Glenfinnan Viaduct is a railway bridge located in the Scottish Highlands, in Glenfinnan, Inverness-shire. Although it may seem like a typical bridge to some, this viaduct carries an element of excitement and charm. Standing at around 30 metres, visitors can marvel at its impressive arches above the majestic River Finnan. Constructed from mass concrete between 1897 and 1901 by the contractors Robert Mcalpine & Sons, the Glenfinnan Viaduct makes for a unique experience when accompanied with views of the surrounding landscapes. Plus, with the gleaming Jacobite steam train passing over it, there's a sense of adventure to be felt!
