You don't need to speak Swiss German to visit Switzerland - people understand standard German (TV, Books,... are in German) and many speak English. But learning a few local words always gets a smile 😊

If you want to impress a Swiss Local, learn this:
📦Chuchichästli (Küchenschrank) = kitchen cupboard
Pronounce like that: Khu-khi-khesh-tli (Chu-chi-chäscht-li)
💡 Local tip: If you only learn two Swiss German words, make them "Grüezi" and "Merci." You'll hear them everywhere and locals will appreciate the effort.
