One of Finland's most treasured natural landscapes, where the wild Oulankajoki river carves its way through rugged, forested valleys. You'll find yourself crossing iconic hanging bridges over roaring rapids and discovering breathtaking views from atop ancient cliffs. The trails are exceptionally well-marked, making it easy to explore; the most popular day hike, the Pieni Karhunkierros or 'Little Bear's Ring' trail, is a 12km loop that offers some of the park's most spectacular scenery and typically takes four to six hours to complete.
