Insider Tips:

• Crested Butte might be my favorite town in this guide. During summer and fall, drive Kebler pass for stunning wildflowers and fall colors.

• If you're camping, check out Mt Crested Butte campground. Tent camping only, first come first serve. If you go during spring, you'll wake up surrounded by wildflowers.

• Butte Bagels, just go. Trust me it's worth the line.

• For unique and delectable pizza, try The Secret Stash.

• For the perfect wildflower hike, go to Rustler's Gulch. The road is rough, a 4 x 4 is recommended. But the hike is worth it.
