It was a huge pyramidal structure dedicated to the gods Huitzilopochtli and Tlaloc, with separate shrines for each deity.

The Templo Mayor de México-Tenochtitlan, also known as the Main Temple, was an important religious and cultural site for the Aztec people. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to visit it but already from the outside it is something exceptional.

Il Templo Mayor de México-Tenochtitlan, noto anche come Tempio Principale, era un importante sito religioso e culturale per il popolo azteco. Purtroppo non ho avuto modo di visitarla ma già dall'esterno è qualcosa di eccezionale.
