Predominantly uninhabited, the island consists of only a few houses and has a wholly rustic charm that is very beautiful to see. Lobos is a small island just off Corralejo. It is also a nature reserve.
Los Lobos means “the wolves” and owes its name to the fact that, in the past, the region was inhabited by monk seals , also known as sea wolves.
You can choose to walk the trails , climb to the top of the volcano , discover the lagoons , the natural pool of El puertito , the old lime kilns , the lighthouse and much more...
I recommend that you bring a picnic for your trip.

HOW TO ARRIVE:
Before visiting the island, you must obtain a permit. You can request one on this website . Visiting hours at Lobos Island are as follows: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We chose the morning hours.
Easily accessible from Corralejo by cab boat, it will cost you about 16 € round trip per adult.
Remember to bring your IDs , as the company will have to register you as there is a maximum number of visitors to respect.
🇮🇹 Prevalentemente disabitata, l'isola è composta da poche case e ha un fascino del tutto rustico, molto bello da vedere. Lobos è una piccola isola appena fuori Corralejo. È anche una riserva naturale.
Los Lobos significa “i lupi” e deve il suo nome al fatto che, in passato, la regione era abitata dalle foche monache , note anche come lupi di mare.
Si può scegliere di percorrere i sentieri , salire in cima al vulcano , scoprire le lagune , la piscina naturale di El puertito, le vecchie fornaci da calce , il faro e molto altro ancora...
Ti consiglio di portare un picnic per il tuo viaggio.

Prima di visitare l'isola, è necessario ottenere un'autorizzazione. Puoi richiederne una su questo sito web . Gli orari di visita a Lobos Island sono i seguenti: dalle 10:00 alle 14:00 e dalle 14:00 alle 18:00. Noi abbiamo scelto l'orario mattutino.
Facilmente raggiungibile da Corralejo in taxi boat, ti costerà circa 16 € andata e ritorno per adulto.
Ricorda di portare i tuoi documenti d'identità , poiché la compagnia dovrà registrarti in quanto c'è un numero massimo di visitatori da rispettare.
