Located in Simi Valley, Corriganville Movie Ranch was once one of Hollywood’s most active outdoor filming locations. Built in the 1930s by actor Ray Corrigan, the ranch featured full western town sets including saloons, jails, and dusty streets where countless films and television shows were produced. Over time, fires destroyed most of the structures, leaving behind the rugged sandstone landscape that visitors see today at Corriganville Park.

One of the most unusual features of the ranch is Trail Blazers Cave, a small cave in the rock formations that was used as a filming location. The cave even appears in the horror western Billy the Kid Versus Dracula. Today the area feels quiet and atmospheric, and some visitors say the cave and surrounding hills still carry an eerie presence tied to the ranch’s long film history.
