Cloud 9 is a must-visit spot for both surfers and beach lovers. Renowned as a world-famous surf break, Cloud 9 delivers the most epic waves for advanced surfers, attracting a crowd of skilled local surfers conquering its heavy, hard, and powerful waves.

For those bold enough to take on the challenge, you can rent a surfboard from one of the beach shacks and ride the waves like a pro. Just be careful, because the reef beneath the wave is sharp and unforgiving. To access the break, simply walk out 100m on the boardwalk of Cloud 9.

The area is buzzing with activity, especially in October when it hosts the Cloud 9 Siargao World Surfing Cup. Even if you're not into surfing, Cloud 9 is still worth a visit for its stunning sunsets and laid-back beach vibes. At certain times, they charge a 100₱/1.80$/1,60€ Environmental Fee. Grab a chilled beer, find a spot on the sand, and watch the surfers ride the waves as the sun sets behind the palm trees. It's pure paradise.
