Since it was already getting dark after exploring Nizwa, I chose to camp just outside the city instead of driving further.

This isn’t a spectacular mountain or beach camp - but it’s quiet, secluded, and very practical.

It’s a great option if:

• You want to stay in Nizwa until sunset

• You don’t want to drive in the dark

• You’re planning to visit the Friday goat market early the next morning

Sometimes convenience is more important than scenery; and this spot works perfectly for that.
