Tyresta National Park, located just 20 km from Sweden’s capital, offers a true wilderness escape with ancient forests, serene lakes, and rugged rock formations.
There are several hiking trails available, starting from different access points. At the main entrance, you’ll find a visitor center and paid parking. If you prefer free parking, I recommend starting your hike from one of the other entrances instead.
Not far from the main entrance, there’s a small café where you can enjoy a fika. Be sure to check their opening hours in advance on Instagram or Facebook.
To find a hiking trail that suits your level and interests, visit the official website of the national park.
