Muiderslot is a medieval castle located in the Dutch town of Muiden, near Amsterdam. A quaint town, which is worth visiting as well for its cute restaurants by the water. Built in 1285, this castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Netherlands and is a popular tourist attraction!

The castle is surrounded by a moat and has a drawbridge, a gatehouse, and a keep. The gardens are very nice and you can also walk on the castle walls.
