What is it?- The Red Mountains are a natural phenomenon located just 40 Kilometers south of the main highway around Issyk Kul. Similar to Jetti Oguz, these large, red rocks tower over.

How do I get here?- After exiting the main highway, you will drive for about 30 minutes south on a paved road in fairly good condition. Expect to lose service for the entire drive, and have your maps downloaded.

What do I do here?- If you have a drone, this is the perfect place to put it to use! Come for sunrise or sunset to have a unique lighting in your photos. You can hike through this area, but it isn't as popular as the other canyon; therefore, there won't be a solid trail to follow.
