Castelul Bran, often referred to as Dracula's Castle, is a stunning fortress. With its striking medieval architecture and picturesque setting, it draws visitors from all over the world.

The castle has a rich history, dating back to the 14th century, and is steeped in legends, particularly those surrounding Vlad the Impaler, who inspired the Dracula myth. Although Bram Stoker assigned Bran Castle as the residence of ruler Vlad Tepes (also known as Vlad Dracul), it is though misguiding – the ruler never reigned from Bran residence. There are no historic facts to support this theory.

Inside, guests can explore various exhibits that showcase the castle's history and its connection to Romanian royalty.

By descending in the museum`s park, you can also visit the open-air ethnographical section. It displays a large number of buildings originally from the area, a household and pastoral annexes, workshops and specialised craft units.
