South Milton Sands is a beautiful beach located near Thurlestone in Devon. It offers stunning scenery and clear waters. The beach is perfect for swimming and exploring the rock pools at low tide. When the sea is calm, there’s no where better to paddle board or kayak, and going through the famous Thurlestone Rock arch is fun! A lot of people snorkel and fish in this area, there is a vibrant sea bed the further you get away from the shoreline.

It’s a great beach for families, with a large National Trust car park right by the beach. There is The Beach House for an ice cream and some lunch, but it’s very small and you can often be waiting a long time, so I’d recommend bringing a cool box with you if you plan on being here all day.
