Blue Heron Park is a hidden gem beach in Yellowpoint near Nanaimo.

The carved sandstone that creates the shoreline here holds an abundance of sea creatures. At low tide you can see brightly coloured sea stars, large kelp crabs, sea cucumbers, kelp beds, and other plant life.

It is a very tranquil, beautiful place to spend a sunny afternoon.
