Cascata di Lares – A Hidden Gem in Val Genova

The Cascata di Lares is simply magnificent. Tucked away in the beautiful Val Genova, this waterfall is just a short 10-minute walk from the nearby parking area ... and the way there is already a highlight. You’ll cross a stunning bridge with crystal-clear glacier water rushing beneath you. Seriously, take a moment there – it’s breathtaking.

I’ve only been there once recently, but I’m already sure: I’ll definitely come back. This valley is just amazing – it’s one of those places that instantly captures you.

Keep in mind, that there is a entrance fee for the valley (usually around 10 € per car), but it’s absolutely worth it. Once you're there, don’t just stop at the waterfall – there are plenty of incredible spots nearby. Just check out my interactive map to see what’s around!
