Message from Hat Explores

The Kimono Forest in Kyoto is an art installation of 600 pillars clad in traditional kimono fabric. Designed by Japanese artist Yasumichi Morita, this enchanting artificial grove lights up at night, creating a magical atmosphere that's perfect for a stroll or some unique photos. There is a Dragon pond in the middle with the various pillars arranged throughout the station, alongside the tracks and some around the grounds.

TIP - The illumination is turned off at 9pm so try catching it before then
