Next to Lake Pukaki, there’s a beautiful lupin field that’s perfect for photos. The bright flowers stretch toward the turquoise water, with Aoraki/Mount Cook standing tall in the distance. It’s a peaceful place to stop for a few minutes and take in the view. If you’re into photography, come early or late in the day when the light is softer and the colors really stand out.
