A must from northern Chile! Hidden in the heart of Aymara territory, in the region of Arica and Parinacota, is the Red Lagoon!

The beginning of the road to the Lagoon is in the Tarapacá region, in the town of Camiña, from there it is 3 hours to the Lagoon on a road only suitable for 4x4. It is recommended to go with a local guide, we went with Palmenia Mamani (+56 9 5773 6907) who took us in her own vehicle for 6 people.

Admission is $3,000 per person.

This place impresses anyone who visits it for its blood-colored waters, legend has it that they were dyed by the devil!
