Avatar Grove is temporarily closed while Recreation Sites & Trails BC works on critical safety and environmental upgrades. I’m keeping it on the list, but I wouldn’t recommend visiting at this time.

If you’re looking to experience old-growth forests, I highly recommend Eden Grove or, even better, Carmanah Provincial Park. Both are incredible alternatives, and Eden Grove is incredibly close to Avatar Grove, making it an easy substitute.
