Húsavík Museum is an educational and exciting place for any visitor to explore Iceland's history. On the main floor of the Culture House in Húsavík, the exhibition Man and Nature - 100 years in Þingeyjarsýsla provides insight into the subsistence farming that was practised in this region from 18250-1950. The lower level houses Maritime History with a wide variety of fishing gear, equipment and tools which were used in the fisheries and seal-hunting, as well as Hrafninn (the Raven), a gift from Norway.
